Carbis Bay Holidays has been offering luxury catering holidays in St Ives for over 10 years. They specialise in four and five star accommodation, from beachfront apartments to traditional classic cottages in the finest locations Cornwall has to offer.

Being the only local agent in the St Ives area and 100% quality assessed with Visit England, they have a fantastic reputation to maintain, which put the pressure on us as their designers!

They wanted to raise their profile further and were adamant to use a local design studio with the same environmental ethos, so the Carbis Bay team approached us to design a template for their online newsletter to keep their ever-increasing database of clients up to date. This project then led onto the design of an ‘Owners Guide’ which was a brilliant showcase of the properties they have to offer, all printed on 100% recycled stock using vegetable based inks.

We were then thrilled to be asked to produce illustrations for the porch entrance of their office. The illustrations were to give an overall feeling of a luxury apartment that is warm and welcoming and of course has a beach feel (its all about St Ives after all). With the colours of the brand and incorporation of a window graphic showing a view of St Ives, we stylized the illustrations to pay homage to the arts in St Ives.
