Lovely Little Books began with 'Little Book of Cornwall' in 2007. A passion for Cornwall and the people and places that make it so special, inspired Emma Mansfield to create this "proud little book". It sold 5000 copies in ten weeks and continues to sell between 500-800 copies a month between The Eden Project and local book stores..... so naturally the obvious move was to create more.
We feel totally privileged to have worked so closely with Emma and to have collaborated on the creative direction of the first three books including 'Little Book of Balls' and 'Little Book of the Mind'. As well as the overall front page template design, the team at Leap created the POS for the Waterstones launch of the first book, this included window graphics, flyers and A3 posters.
The books are being sold on Amazon & Ebay and are stocked in most Waterstones shops (in 2008 'The Little Book of Cornwall' sold more copies within Cornwall than Harry Potter, proving to be a great success).
