Our very own Christopher Maynard was not only shortlisted as a finalist for \’Contribution to Environmental Sustainability\’ at this year\’s UCP (Unlocking Cornish Potential) awards; he also won the \’Individual Achievement Award\’!!
This was basically a direct reflection of Chris\’s outstanding project coordination skills during the Eco Design Challenge for Designs of the Time (Dott) Cornwall this summer, whereby he also organised several large events and has raised Leap\’s profile on a national and international stage.
We are very proud of you Chris, thanks for all your hard work : )

After a few nominations and a couple of awards during 2010, we thought we were blessed with what we’ve got and were looking forward to next year. That was until…
I’ve been nominated for two UCP Awards in the categories of Contribution to Environmental Sustainability and Individual Achievement and myself and Leap have also been nominated for a Hub Award each; one for Employee of the Year and the other for Green Business of the Year.
Thanks both must go to everyone at Unlocking Cornish Potential and the Hub committee.
The UCP Awards are next Wednesday (27th October) and the Hub Awards are on 25th November.

Following on from our work last year branding West Cornwall Adventure, we negotiated a team-building day this Friday (14th October) for 12 people as part of our fee. With only seven places taken up by Leap, we’ve got five left for you to come along and join in the fun!
We’re meeting at Portreath Beach at 1000hrs to start the day with a bit of Coasteering, followed by a spot of lunch and then onto an afternoon of Kayaking.
